Delta Medical Services offers inter-hospital transfers of critically ill patients from Intensive Care Unit (ICU), High Dependency Unit (HDU) and Cardiac transfers. Each transfers is managed depending on the nature of the medical illness, co-morbidity, level of dependency and risk of deterioration during the transfer. Delta Medical Services approach to promoting safer transfers of critically ill patients to the highest of standards that we can offer Delta Medical Services staff will monitor the patient though out the hole journey to ensure that if anything happens we can provide the best possible care.

•    All High Dependency ambulances have Emergency Blue Lights and an audible warning system, this allows the crew to progress through traffic to respond to emergencies quicker. Emergency blue lights and sirens are only used when authorised by management.
